Westfield
- The 104th Fighter Wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard
proudly presented an up close and personal look at their new F-15
Eagle Fighter to over 40 employers who traveled from across the
state to attend this impressive event. During the course of their
visit, employers received operational briefings and a small arms
demonstration. Personnel of the Army Aviation Support Facility flew
two Blackhawk and one Kiowa helicopters with the employers on board.
The twenty minute flights were flown in perfectly clear skies over
the lush green country of the
Pioneer
Valley.
The day ended with a luncheon that included an
ESGR briefing and closing remarks. Program Support Specialist, Dave
St. Germain, reported that he received more than 50 Statements of
Support signed by the employers that were present as well as a
number from employers unable to attend. In addition to Mr. St.
Germain, the following ESGR leaders provided assistance and support:
Program Coordinator SFC Richard Reynolds, Military Outreach Director
Bill Hebert, Southeast Mass Area Chair Joaquim-Ingo Borowski, and
Awards Director Roger Fortin.
