Worcester – ESGR Central MA Area Chair Anthony Ingrisano presided over a Statement of Support signing at a local college, on July 22^nd. The event took place in the President’s office at Worcester State College where Dr. Janelle Ashley signed the Statement of Support affirming the college’s support for employees and students serving in the Guard and Reserve.   

Prior to the signing, Mr. Ingrisano presented a brief overview of ESGR, its history and mission, and explained why employer support is critical to the defense of America. 

After signing the Statement of Support, Dr. Ashley presented Mr. Ingrisano with a copy of their college magazine, “Worcester Statement” which, fittingly enough, had a cover story about three current students (pictured in uniform) who had served in Iraq. Dr. Ashley said the current student body at Worcester State College includes over 130 students who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. military.  Worcester State College has a Veteran’s Affairs Office to assist Veterans with the transition from service member to student.
