On Wednesday, 16 April 2008, ESGR Eastern Massachusetts Area Chairman John Pelose presented an "Above and Beyond" Award to Foley Hoag LLP  for supporting members of the Guard and Reserve more than the minimum required by law. The firm was nominated by employee and United States Marine Corps Reservist, Captain Nathan C. Henderson. Capt. Henderson stated in his nomination of the company, that he deeply appreciated the support given to him and his family during his recent deployment to Iraq .
