MA ESGR State Chair, Mr. Kenneth Forchielli and ESGR Eastern
Area Chair, Mr. John Pelose presided over a duel Statement of
Support signing on Thursday, March 6, 2008. The special event
was held by Sheriff James V. DiPaola of the Middlesex County
Sheriff's Department. The reception was in honor of the soon to
be deployed National Guard Citizen Soldier and Deputy Sheriff, Mark
O'Brien. Also present at the event was Mr Barry Sloane, Chief
Executive Officer and Co-President of Century Bank.
Sheriff DiPaola gave some very moving remarks on
the importance of “Duty, Honor, Country, and Family”! He praised
Deputy O'Brien and the 26 other Deputies who have deployed and served since
September 11, 2001. After remarks, Sheriff DiPaola and Mr.
Sloane sat down and signed the Statements of Support as Mr. Forchielli
and all the guests looked on.
