On February 20, 2008, A.J. Martini, Inc., a Winchester based family owned construction firm, was the recipient of the prestigious “Above and Beyond” award from the ESGR (Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve) National office in Washington , DC .  The Martini Company has received numerous accolades and awards for its quality and professionalism in the construction industry for its work throughout New England and down the East Coast to Florida since 1950.   

Employer Outreach Director, Dr. Thomas Mulvaney , presented the award on behalf of ESGR because of the outstanding and generous support and benefits provided to their employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.  The Martini Company paid the employees a difference in salary to make up lost income, continued family health insurance, and supported the service members in many other ways.  Truly above and beyond what the law requires. 

The Company leadership was thanked for sharing their employees with the people of the United States , and for supporting their employees during their service. Martini employee,  Major Darren G. Moore, US Army Reserve, personally thanked Mr. Martini for the generous help and support he received during his deployments.  

Since the company’s formation by Mr. Albert. J. Martini in 1950, his sons Paul and Peter continue to experience an outstanding reputation in the construction industry as well as economic success.  A.
