On June 4, 2007 The Greater New Bedford Regional Refuse Management District stepped forward to sign a Statement of Support certificate showing awareness of the importance of hiring a military member to their workforce. 

  On hand for ESGR, Dave St. Germain said that the quality of the work force generally improves greatly with inclusion of a member of the Guard or Reserve. These workers bring with them a motivated, on time and drug free employment environment. 

  Signing for GNBRRM District was it's director Mrs. Virginia Valiela. Also on hand was Mrs. Lee Ferreira, Office Assistant.
