At the General Business meeting of Massachusetts ESGR on Tues, April 10, 2007, Western Mass Area Chairman, Mr. Earl Bonnet, was awarded the David P Mahn Spirit Of Volunteerism Award for 2007.

  The award was presented by Mrs. Joyce Mahn, widow of Rev. David Mahn, deceased State Chairman of Mass ESGR for whom the award was named. Rev. Mahn was the epitome of the true volunteer and a great community leader.

  The award seeks to recognize a member of Mass ESGR who best represents the leadership and volunteerism principles that David Mahn espoused. Mr. Bonnet has been a committee member for several years, is a trained ombudsman, Ombudsman coordinator and is currently serving as Area Chairman for Western Massachusetts.

  He is constantly looking for still more ways to help make relations between employers, their military members and families and the military a top priority.
