On February 15, the Town of Sandwich at a Board of Selectmen meeting signed the ESGR Statement of Support, making Sandwich the third town in Barnstable County to accomplish this.  The Chairman of the Board Randal Hunt signed the Certificate during the weekly Board of Selectmen's meeting.  Also on hand were Selectmen Douglas Dexter, Thomas Keys, Frank Pannofi & Adam Chaprales as well as the Town Administrator.

  Representing ESGR was Vice-Chairman David St. Germain.  In addition, Lt. Col. Wayne Theroux, Deputy Commander, 102d Support Group represented nearby Otis ANGB. Several members of the Board of Selectmen addressed how vital the Massachusetts Military Reservation & Otis ANG Base are to the economic health and employment situation in the Town.
