The VA Boston Health Care System
was recognized for its support of Guard and Reserve employees with the
presentation of ESGR’s Above and Beyond Award in a ceremony at the West Roxbury
campus on November 8th. Chief Executive Officer Michal Larson
accepted the award from MA ESGR members, Frank Vetelino, Leo Lazo, John Pelose
and Ken Forchielli. Frank Vetelino, who is also a VA employee at West Roxbury
recommended his employer for the award and coordinated the presentation which
was held in conjunction with a Veterans Day collation.
Prior to the award presentation,
Mr. Larson graciously signed a Five Star Statement of Support affirming his
support of Guard and Reserve employees.
