Boston’s Union Oyster House, the oldest restaurant in America, was the
site of a Statement of Support signing on September 12, 2006.
Owner Joseph A. Milano Jr. signed a 5 Star Statement of Support in the
Freedom Trail Room as members of the Military Order of the World Wars looked on.
Mr. Milano, a long time member of the Massachusetts Committee for Employer
Support of the Guard and Reserve and former Civilian Aide to the Secretary of
the Army was presented with a Statement of Support plaque following the signing.
