Statement of Support Signing at National Historic Landmark

Boston’s Union Oyster House, the oldest restaurant in America, was the site of a Statement of Support signing on September 12, 2006.

Owner Joseph A. Milano Jr. signed a 5 Star Statement of Support in the Freedom Trail Room as members of the Military Order of the World Wars looked on. Mr. Milano, a long time member of the Massachusetts Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve and former Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army was presented with a Statement of Support plaque following the signing.

Pictured in the photo from left to right is John F. Carey, Commander of the Mass Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars, Joseph A. Milano Jr. and MA ESGR State Chairman Kenneth Forchielli.
