September 14, 2006 saw the signing of a Statement of Support by the Chief of the Attleboro Fire Department, Chief Ron Churchill.

  The Chief, a veteran and former Air National Guard member, was proud to sign in honor of his three Guard & Reserve employees, two of whom were present, the third is currently serving in Iraq as a firefighter with the Air National Guard.

  Attending were three members of the Attleboro Army Reserve Facility, led by SFC Almeida, ESGR Executive Director, David St. Germain, many members of the Fire Department and SFC Walter Guertin, a 13 year member of the Fire Department and an Army Reservist just returned on September 9th From Iraq.

  The event was made more patriotic by the inclusion of a Attleboro fire truck which is painted like the National flag.
