On the 27th of July, Executive Director, David St. Germain, of Mass ESGR presided over a Statement of Support signing at Lockheed Martin Sippican, a major employer in the town of Marion, MA.

  Lockheed Martin Sippican employs over three hundred individuals, approximately fifty of these are members of the Guard and Reserve.

  Such a large number of reservists at this organization is unusual until you look at their mission and their product.  Lockheed Martin Sippican is a major government defense contractor. 

  At the SOS signing ceremony, around 20 employees were in attendance, all of who were either members of the Guard & Reserve, retired US Military or veterans.  The signing was completed by the Plant Manager. Also, in attendance was Lockheed Martin Manager of personnel, Mr. Seamus Hastings.
