The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Freetown accomplished the signing of a Statement of Support for the Guard and Reserve on Monday, September 24, 2006 at their meeting at the Senior Center.

The head of the Board, Mr. John Ashley signed for the Town.  Also in attendance was Veterans Agent Richard Levesque and for ESGR David St. Germain.

Mr. Ashley made remarks indicating that the first priority of the Town regarding it's Guard and Reserve employees was their swift return to the way of life they had known prior to their mobilization, certainly to include a warm return to their jobs.
