On April 11,  the Board of Selectmen of the Town of Mattapoisett, signed a 4-star Statement of Support for the Guard & Reserve.

Board Chairman Stephen J. Lombard signed for the town.  Present for the ceremony were Town Administrator Michael J. Bothelho and the Town Veterans Agent Barry Denham and Vets Service Rep Mrs. Paula Butterfield.

In addition to the signing, a local veterans post took advantage of the event and presented 2 fifty year membership certificates to World War II Vets.  Representing ESGR was David St. Germain.
