Adjutant General Receives ESGR Award

The Adjutant General of the Massachusetts National Guard, Maj Gen George W. Keefe, was presented the prestigious Seven Seals Award in a ceremony at Joint Forces Headquarters in Milford, MA on April 21st.  Presenting the award on behalf of the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve were ESGR Program Coordinator CPT Christopher Dugre, Awards Coordinator Joseph Ryan, and State Chair Ken Forchielli.

The Seven Seals Award is emblematic of the seven components that comprise the Guard and Reserve forces of America.  The award is given in recognition of an individual's achievement, initiative or support over time that promotes the ESGR mission.  It goes without saying, that Maj Gen Keefe is one of the most deserving recipients of the award having served Massachusetts and the nation for 49 Years.  The presenters, representing the Massachusetts Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, were honored to participate in the ceremony recognizing this outstanding American.
